I'm closing on a house in February, so I havent been spending money so I'm ready for the closing financially and anything that may come up. I've wanted to go to a game all season, but knowing I would be buying my house I've made sure to spend sparingly. I'd love to go to a game!!

I am the Falcons biggest fan because I have been watching them play since I was 2 years old. I use to wake up with my Grandfather on the weekends just to watch the Falcons play. My Grandfather took me to my first and only Falcons game. I was around 4 years old. It was the Falcons verses the Cowboys. I will never forget how excited I was. I would love to be able to go back and take my husband and kids to a Falcon game!

My husband is born and raised in Atlanta and loves the Falcons too!!! We even try to make our little boy do the dirty bird on touchdowns!!! We would love to see Matty Ice and Coach Smith get their first Falcons playoff win!!!! RISE UP!!! Go Falcons!!!

I grew up with parents that had season tickets to Fulton County Stadium. Through the good years and the bad, we were always true fans. I lost my mom to cancer 20 years ago and this past year my father joined her. This season has been an amazing distraction from the pain. My family and I know my daddy is up there "pulling some strings" to help his boys to the Super Bowl. It would be an amazing tribute to the Falcon's legacy I've grown up with and instilled in my kids to be able toAnyway we can get in there today. I tried to snatch today and my shoulder is killing me! be there when they win this game and move to the next step! Rise up dirty birds!

My parents are in the 1970 Falcons yearbook which I still have and we were born fans! I moved to Flowery Branch last year so I am surrounded by Falcons and we are so wanting them to go all the way this year. I know my family will be the loudest in the Dome to cheer those Dirty Birds to VICTORY!!! GO FALCONS!!

I'm a born and raised ATLien and I bleed red and black! I collect memorabilia, attend all the preseason practices, and oh yeah - last year even erected a 6' tall Falcon...out of snow [pic]!

I'd love to be RISING UP and sharing the experience with my family including my Big Brothers/Big Sisters little brother who loves the Falcons and is yet to attend a game in the Dome. The Playoff atmosphere Sunday afternoon will be THE place to experience his first pro football game!

My husband is the biggest Falcons fan I know! I am a huge fan too, of course. My husband though, has been supporting them his entire life. He wears his Michael Turner jersey for every game. I was hoping for our anniversary last year that I would be able to surprise him with tickets, but was unable to afford them. I would be SO grateful for the chance to surprise him with tickets to the playoff game!! What better game to witness than the one that sends our Falcons to the Superbowl!

I can tell you every player on the whole roster, how they were acquired, and probably a little bit more. I follow every Falcon that has an InstaGram or Twitter. I have a framed, signed Matt Ryan jersey I received after a fought through a mob after a training camp practice. I have autographs from nearly every player on the team since 2007 including Keith Brooking, Jerious Norwood, Joey Harrington, DeAngelo Hall, Chris Crocker, Matt Ryan, Michael Turner, Roddy White, Julio Jones, Sean Weatherspoon, Mike Peterson, Erik Coleman, Thomas DeCoud, and many, many more. I also have the autograph from the great coach himself, Mike Smith. I have 5 Falcons jerseys, and where them proudly every week whether I'm at the Dome, or watching the game on TV. I wrote High School reports on key members who helped start the Falcons franchise including Rankin Smith. I've been a Falcons fan my whole life, and have watched every game win or lose. I would love love to share the tickets with my family, so we can experience our first playoff game live! I'm proud to say that I bleed black and red!!! This is the Falcons year!!! Rise Up!!!!!!!!!!!

I would love for my husband to be able to use these tickets! He has selflessly devoted the last two years to taking care of our medically fragile little boy. With over 45 hospital admissions last year alone, attending sporting events has not been possible. It would be amazing to be able to surprise him with tickets for such an exciting game. He is such a huge Falcons fan, watching most games from our son's hospital room. Thank you for the opportunity!

I would love absolutely love to win a chance to see a Falcons game. I am a true fan of #55 John Abraham he is awesome..I am ashamed to admit that I have only been to 1 Falcons football game and that was many years ago. Due to our finances we have not been able not been able to afford a game at the stadium. That being said we watch the games on TV religiously. I want my Falcons to go all the way and I will be there to support them all the way regardless of if I am there or at home. I am asking for the opportunity to come to the stadium and watch the Falcons Roc it out. Thanks and Go Falcons!

I believe that I am the biggest falcon fan because I grew up knowing nothing but the Falcons and UGA football. I know that I am only 26 years old and the falcons were together even before I was born but I have been there even in their though times (unlike some people that just jump on the band wagon). The only thing that is wrong with this picture is the only way I have ever cheered for them would be through a TV. I have never ever been to the Georgia Dome to see them play. I thought that when I got married and since my husband is a huge fan that he would by tickets for us....ummm...no because something else would come up that we would have to use the money for. Now we are trying to save up for a house and for sure now don't have the money and haven't had the money to go this year. This is way I am writing this because I would love to try and win tickets for my family and I to go since we have never been and would love to get a chance to go (even if this would be the only time). Thanks so much for this opportunity!!!

Rise up to the Atlanta Falcons as i am the #1 fan. I love the way Turner the burner runs over everyone. I love the athleticism of the defense who never gives up. I love the moment when Mattie Ice delivers a perfect pass each and every time. I love the way Roddy White and Julio Jones make some of most unbelievable catches you have ever seen. I love the antics of the coaches. I love the fact that the best Tight End in football Tony Gonzalez will win his first playoff game as a Atlanta Falcon. I love when the opposing team has to look in the eyes of Sean Weatherspoon, John Abraham, Dunta Robinson, Mike Peterson, Asante Samuel and say how are we going to score on that??? I love the dynamism of the fans. I love the noise and the buzz and the electricity in the stadium. I love the loud songs. I love it that we are the underdogs. But what I love about Atlanta Falcons the most? They are MY team. I love the fact that for 4quarters over 72,000 fans will come together and cheer on the Atlanta Falcons. Who am I ? I am the #1 fan of the Atlanta Falcons.

Born and raised in Georgia for 42 years...grew up watching the Falcons in the good and the bad! Once a Falcon's fan, always a Falcon's fan! This would be such an honor to give these tickets to my husband. Like most in this economy, he works long hard hours with not much extra money or time for fun....I want to see him have some fun!!!Can you help me? Thanks for a great contest!

PICK ME! The Falcons have never lost when I am at the Dome!

0

Coolray 1 year, 3 months ago

I am out to be the biggest Falcon's fan literally If I don't win these tickets. I'll keep right on eating and eating and eating until next season starts to mask my sorrow at not being at the biggest sports event in ATL in the last 10 years.

You can't find anyone who knows more Falcon history and I haven't missed watching a game in more than 15 years. I have 9 Falcons shirts, 2 hats, 1 hoodie, 1 pair of socks and a Falcon's Santa hat. I willing to have a Falcon tatoo on my forehead for a week and I'll even wear Falcon pajamas if I win.

I'm even willing to date a Falcon cheerleader to help the cause.

You can't go wrong by picking me! Rise Up! Falcon for Life!

I know I'm te biggest Falcon Fan because for the last game of the season I rode the marta bus from Gwinnett County, stood out in the cold, and endured a painful conversation with the Falcon's Motivator Guy just to meet up with the my student and his father my tickets from will call, because he had never been to a Falcon's game before. Needless to say his brother showed up too. I couldn't leave him out in the cold so I summoned my husband to ask one of the gentlemen entering the Dome if they had an extra ticket and I would purchase it for the brother. When my husband approached the guy, low and behold he knew him and he gave him the ticket for free. We then circled the Dome just to enjoy the pagentry of it all and walked backed to the Marta and took the ride back to Gwinnett and rushed home to catch the rest of the game. Now how does this prove I'm the biggest Falcon Fan? Well, if you knew me you would know that I don't give up my Faclon's tickets for Nothing or NoOne, but I just wanted my student to feel, if not but one time, what I feel every time I attend a Falcon's game, the rush of being apart of something GREAT! Go Falcons!!

I grew up in Baltimore rooting for the Colts. While I was away at college, the team moved out in the middle of the night. Talk about devastating. I was in western PA at the time, so the Steelers were the obvious choice for teams, but they just never lived up to the legacy of the Colts.Baltimore was without a team for so long, so when the Ravens came to town, it just wasn't the same. I moved south not long after that and I adopted the Falcons as my new heros of the gridiron. My husband was born and raised in Alabama, so on Saturdays he is yelling Roll Tide, and on Sundays it's Rise Up Falcons. It would be so awesome to see the Falcons beat the Seahawks. Falcons, after all, are not only swift, but powerful. I hope we win the chance to yell until we are horse!

I am the BIGGEST Falcons fan because I have rooted for them in every single game and will continue to do so until they win the Superbowl!!! I love Matt Ryan and all the players because they work so hard and are so dedicated! I've never been to a Falcons game though, so I'd love for this one to be my first one!

I have been a falcon fan since 66 when the won 3 games. I have never been to a falcon playoff game. I would like to go to just one and see them win it and feel the atmosphere in that dome. I would be taking my family and 1 friend , who has never seen a real pro football game. This is our year and this may be the starting gun to the super bowl.

It's great when you're a sports fan, and you meet another sports fan, and he turns out to be the love of your life even if he is a Falcons fan, and you're a Packers fan. You get married and you love him, so you learn to love his team as well. There is nothing greater than camaraderie with other fans of the A team! I love this town and all of their teams! It's home.

My family and I are the biggest Fans of the Atlanta Dirty Bird Falcons, because we have cheered them on for years. Due to many military transfers to all parts of the world with the United States Navy.....when Uncle Sam calls on its Military, we had to answer that call to defend our country. Now that our retired Navy family now resides in the Gwinnett county area as our retirement home.....what better way to celebrate all of those years of military sacrifices than by having an opportunity to witness our Falcons take it all the way to the SUPER BOWL this season!!! Since retiring, We have never been in a position to afford to attend any of the games in person.... What a treat this would be for our family!!! "Go Falcons!!!"

0

My dad and I are the biggest Falcons fans because his son-in-law is a Saints fan, and we still allow him in the family. I mean, really?!?! Enough said! But, I would LOVE to take my dad to this amazing game on Sunday. He has always loved the Falcons but has never experienced game day in person! What a way to have some father/daughter bonding cheering on our Atlanta Falcons on their journey to the Super Bowl!!!!

0

NorcrossDot 1 year, 3 months ago

My Husband and I had season tickets for about 15 years in the Fulton County Stadium days when is wasn't cool to have season tickets. The Falcons struggled mightily during all of those years but we never fail to support them. As children came along and prices rose and the Falcons continued to struggle under the "Smiths" ownership we had to stop buying the tickets but have continued to support them through the years. Although I am a widow now I would love to go to the game especially since I am an avid Alabama fan and would be thrilled to see Julio Jones and Roddy White both from Alabama schools perform. I would take my 8 yr grandson and family with me. Rarely enter contests but would this would be a thrill for all of us in the most "trying" times in America.

I'm a 911 dispatcher for a local police dept. Every Sunday I have to work but I always take my lunch so I'm able to watch the kick off! We have tv's in the room with now sound so I sit next to them and make sure I can watch the game. I have worked every Sunday for the last 3 years and I finally get this Sunday off and would love to be at the Dome enjoying the game with all of the other fans!! My 2 boys have never been to a game and they too love their Falcons!!

Back in the day at Fulton County Stadium with the half filled stadium, I was one of the Falcons fans that sat through the rain, cold, heat....not in the comfort of the GA Dome, and watched the Falcons struggle every week to win games, usually not a favorable outcome. My friends and I used to make signs and put them up at the stadium to "rally the troops"....one in particular was "A team that plays together stays together, how 'bout it Falcons"...actually got that one mentioned by Roman Gabriel who was commentating on the game that day. Sure would be wonderful to go see a Falcons playoff game since they are playing so well as a team.....Love my Falcons, always have, always will...

I am the biggest Falcons fan because I was here before they were good. I watched as Steve Bartcowski got married on the field, I remember the excitement under Leeman Bennett when they went to the playoffs. I had my hear broken when they lost their first playoff game. I was there with Lynn Cain, Billy "White Shoes" Johnson, and Jeff Van Note. I was with them when Jerry Jones was leaveing tickets for Elvis, Neon Deion came, and left, and the Dirty Bird flew over Atlanta. I endured Jim Mora, Michael Vick, and Coach Petrino. It has been a long road I have traveled with this team, and now in this new era I am not a fair weather, jump on board fan. I love our Falcons in all seasons! Let's hope this IS the Year, and our boys will RISE UP!!!!

This is why I need to win Falcon tickets - I never miss a game - Am a major fan (in good times and bad) . January 15 is my oldest son's birthday and he is such a Matt Ryan fan. I would love the opportunity to take him and his wife to a big Falcon's game. His birthday present this year was a Matt Ryan football jersey (and he's going to be 34)! I went to the SuperBowl when Atlanta played in Miami, but would enjoy even more attending such a big game here in Atlanta on their home field.

0

I am the biggest Falcon fan because I believe! I literally countdown the days from Super Bowl to the first preseason game so I can watch "my boys." My house is decked out in red and black with Falcons decor. I have 2 Falcons gnomes that bring them lots of luck and I am convinced that Mike Smith and Matt Ryan hear me when I talk to the tv. My family has to wear their Falcon shirt every game and my kids have learned to love my team as much as I do. I explode in happiness when we win and I literally cry when we lose(which my family thinks is a little much). I hope everyone believes that we are going to do it this year. We deserve it! It will be even sweeter because the national media does not show us much love. But who needs the media with fans like us! If by chance any of the players read this , I just want you to know we all believe in you and we know this is your year. I love all of you and can't wait to see my Falcons chow down on some Seahawks!! Go get'em!!

I have never even been inside the dome. I have always watched my Falcon's on TV. How great would that be if I could experience that feeling of actually going to a live game and letting my family experience it too!

0

kw319 1 year, 3 months ago

I went to my first Falcons game about 3 years ago when I knew absolutely nothing about the game. It was such an awesome experience due to the energy in dome I was instantly hooked. It turned me into a forever fan & I watch every single game whether it be at the dome or at home screaming at the TV. The players are amazing role models and phenomenal athletes. I take part in tailgate team appearances every chance I get, and between those and the games themselves I have met so many fellow fans that have become friends with a common love for our Falcons :) Hard not to be a huge fan of a team that has created so many lifelong memories. RISE UP! #seeya@thesuperbowl

I moved to GA from NY 18 years ago. I was a DIE-HARD Giants fan until about 10 years ago. I watched the Falcons achieve so much over the years...Through some serious adversity (on and off the field)!!!

I've been doing the "Dirty Bird" dance since 2002 and I am so proud to be a Falcon fan from NYC...Don't hate me!!!

Oh, and my birthday is this Sunday (1/13-Not telling the year!), so it would be an AWESOME birthday present and my boys would get to see their first NFL game LIVE!!!

0

taylor1943 1 year, 3 months ago

I have lived in the Atlanta area for 25 years or so. Altho I never understood football until 3 years ago, I always enjoyed the EXCITEMENT of the game. About 3 years ago, I started watching and asking alot of questions -- believe it or not, that made my husband HAPPY that I was bothering him... Now I am a DIE HARD fan! I have reminders on my computer for each game. I follow up on injuries and player stats regularly. I get BUMMED OUT when we have a BYE!!!! My husband tells his friends that he won't be surprised to come home one game day and see me face-painted in support of my guys!

Mostly, I have been very irritated this year that the Falcons aren't getting more press! They are having an INCREDIBLE season, but no one seems to care. The only press seems to be why the OTHER team LOST!!!! Not why WE WIN!

But, I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A GAME - EVER! I haven't even been to the dome!!!! Please let me go and REALLY REALLY REALLY feel the game excitement! Thanks!!!

GO FALCONS!

I am a huge Falcons fan. I have been following the Falcons since 1998. I had a chance to go to the Falcons training camp facility this year 5 or 6 different times when they were preparing for the season in Flowery Branch. I got a chance to speak with alot of the Falcons starters including: Matty Ice, Turner, Rodgers, Matt Bryant, and last but not least Roddy White. After the training camp was over I went to the annual "Friday Night Lights game at Peachtree Ridge High School. That was a great start to the Falcons season and the Falcons got to show the fans some love before the season even started. I went to the last Home game at the Georgia Dome against Tampa Bay. The Falcons had terrific season and as long as we stay healthy and keep Matt Ryan from getting injured I think that we can go far in the Playoffs this year. I would love to go to the game and take my brothers who have not attended a Falcons game in a long time! Thank You!

Because my husband always gets to go everywhere with the guys and I have to stay home. Ex. Ive lived in Georgia for 20+ years and ive never been to a NASCAR race, never been to a UGA game or Falcon game or Hawks, and the list goes on. All because im not one of the "guys". Id love to win these and leave his sorry a$$ at Home haha. This is true, unlike some of the other stories posted above.

I am the biggest falcons fan because I have been dragging my son to the games since he was couple of months old. I used to have to sit and hold his ears because the noise was so loud. I spent days making my husband a Falcons cake for his birthday. I have Falcons shoes, shits, purses, hats, earrings, you name it I have it. We don't anything on Sunday so we can watch the games. I lost my job a couple of years ago and had to give up my season tickets this year because we couldn't afford them anymore and would LOVE to be able to see my Falcons again!

Being A True & Loyal Falcons Fan Is Someone Who Is Loyal And Faithful Whenever The Falcons Are Stuggling Or Having A Great Season. Also A True Falcons Fan Doesn't Say Things Like "They" Are Bad, Or Say 'We" Are Good. And Doesn't Jump On The Bandwagon When The Falcons Are Having A Great Season. Or Jump Off When They Are Stuggling. A True Falcons Fan Can Always Remember The Former Flacons Players like Bubba Bean Or Jeff Van Note Or Jessie "The Hammer" Tuggle By Sight And Saying To Them Thanks For Being Part Of The Falcon Family. And Finally A True & Loyal Fan Can Remember Standing Out In The Georgia Heat To Watch The Falcons Summer Practice At The Old Suwanee Camp Or At The New Flowery Branch Camp And Thank You Falcons For The Great Memories. That Is Why I Proudly Call Myself A True & Loyal Atlanta Falcons Fan. Thank You Goes Out To All Of The Atlanta Falcons For A Great Season.. Go Falcons Go.

I enjoy football, but I am not the biggest Falcons fan. However, I am the biggest fan of my hubby and I would love to treat him and his three best friends to a wonderful afternoon of football and fellowship. Robert and I have been married almost 28 years, and he's been the most wonderful husband, father, son-in-law, etc., that a man can be. Robert refuses to buy things for himself, no matter how much he'd like to have certain things, and I know how much he would love to attend this game. It would be a huge blessing to me to be able to present Robert those tickets so he can take his best buds - Paul, Daniel and Andy - to the game.

I am born an raised a Falcon fan for life. I have a son named Jacob that is 15, He has played football since the age of 6. He is now a Freshman in High School and has been told he can never play the sport of football again. He is broken hearted. Jacob has had 3 major surgery's since April 2012. He has born with Meckel's Diverticulm which we never knew til if exploxed in his stomach on April 28th, 2012. It messed his whole stomach up including large and small intestines, kindneys and bladder. Since then he had 2 more surgery's for major blockages in his small intestines. The 3 surgery on August 4, 2012 resulted in having most of his small intestines removed. He is doing very well now and finally got to start his freshman year in high school. It would mean so much to Jacob to be able to see the Atlanta Falcons play, His dream of playing football is over but he still supports them.

Not only does my family bleed red, it's all we've been able to talk about recently. My son introduced the family to the wonderful life of the Falcons and we all feel in love. Nothing would make us happier than for us to see Matty Ice go out for what will be an amazing game. My son and I are competing for who is more excited and I want to show him that I am more excited by giving him these tickets. He would explode with joy, and nothing makes me happier than seeing him happy. Go Falcons!!!!!!!

Hey GDP. I lost my job over a Falcons game! Pick me!

I purchased tickets for the falcons broncos game at the beginging of the season and requested the night off from my prior employer. Even though I gave more than 1 months notice, I was scheduled to work and told I had no choice. Needless to say, I have a new(better) job now. And that game was amazing. #RiseUp

I would love for my husband to get to go the playoffs this year. He has been a LOYAL Falcons fans since he was a little boy, through thick and thin. He turned me into a Falcons fan..I .grew up outside of DC, and raised a die hard Redskins fan. I was going to get him tickets for Christmas but we ran out of money...both of our kids have late December birthdays and then Christmas and we had to have work done on both cars...so there went any hope of Falcons tickets. We even moved to Flowery Branch 2 years ago! HUGE fans! RISE UP! TIckets or not, we will be decked out in Falcons gear all weekend!

We are fortunate to have season tickets to the Falcons, but unfortunately this year we couldn't afford the extra cost of the playoff tickets. We love our Falcons and my 6 year old son, Noah, is the #1 Falcons fan. When our defense is on the field he is always on his feet being LOUD, turning around telling everyone to RISE UP. And when the offense is on the field and he is telling everyone to be quiet. This kid loves the Falcons with all his heart and I hate that we don't have tickets for the game. Trust me when I say you want us in that dome on Sunday. #DBlock #RiseUp

I am not the biggest fan. Became a fan after attending friday night lights at Peachtree Ridge HS. But, my brother in law IS the biggest fan, to the point of being annoying to other bird fans. He moved to Nashville last year and wanted to make a game all season but couldn't make it down. Would love to surprise him with tickets.

I have been a Falcon Fan since moving from Ohio in 1974. I remember watching the Falcons in a driving rain storm when June Jones the III was quarterback at Atlanta Fulton County Stadium. 3 of my grandchildren were Falcons for Halloween this past year. Jerseys face make up and all. And Our youngest grandchild who is almost 10months went with us to the the Falcons and Panthers at the Dome this past september when he was 6 months old. We have went to many a Falcon tailgate team event even meet Harry Douglas and our youngest grandson made friends with Freddie the Falcon. He even watches the Falcons on tv and he doesnt even enjoy tv much.

We are huge Falcons fans! We are so excited about them going all the way to the Superbowl. However, the real reason I want the tickets is for my husband and my best friend. I have been going through stage 4 cancer and I have been going through chemotherapy treatment since September. She spends 5-6 hours every week with me while I go through chemotherapy so that my husband doesn't have to take time from work. My husband has taken on so many extra responsibilities here at home after working 15 hours a day and commuting. He is also my hero. My friend's husband and son have season tickets and they will be at the game. How awesome would that be for me to tell my husband and friend that they are going to the game on Sunday. I never can think of a gift to give her, because there is no gift for someone who gives so much for my gift of hope and healing.

These tickets would mean so much to all of us! It will be a day we will all remember!

We had season tickets to the Atlanta Falcons the very first year they were franchised as an Atlanta team. They received the first round draft pick in their inaugural year; Tommy Nobis - a middle line backer. Tommy Nobis went on to start the Tommy Nobis Center to provide people with disabilities with job training and employment services. At one time, we both worked for the same company after his retirement from professional football. If I was selected to receive these four tickets to the Atlanta Falcons playoff game, I would turn them over to Tommy Nobis so that he could help coordinate and facilitate sending some of the recipients of the services of his foundation that would otherwise never have the opportunity to do so, and take this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go watch the Atlanta Falcons in a playoff game. And while I would love to go myself and take my family, I would get much more enjoyment out of gifting this opportunity to someone less fortunate than I am.

0

annie1945 1 year, 3 months ago

If I win the tickets, they will be given to my son, who is a school teacher and football coach for a middle school team. He has been a life long Falcon's fan and because he does so much for his middle school team (money, time, etc.) he could never afford to go to a game like this. He would be thrilled beyond belief. He has been involved in football since he was 5 years old. He gives so much of himself to his middle school team, I think he deserves something like playoff Falcon tickets as a reward for his inspiration and dedication to a group of middle school kids.

We would love to win tickets to the Falcons game. We have never been able to take our daughters to a game and I know they would have the BEST time. We've been fans since moving to Atlanta in the mid 80's. Rise Up Falcons!

NFLJunkie 1 year, 3 months ago

I vividly remember the incredible excitement of Falcon times like: • When it was announced that Atlanta got a new NFL franchise.
• The first Falcon draft pick Tommy Nobis. What a HUGE deal.
• Going with friends to Atlanta Fulton County stadium in 1980 at 1:00 AM on a cold and blustery morning to stand in line to get tickets to the Falcons playoff game against Dallas.
• Dancing, shouting, and hugging everyone in sight when the Falcons beat the Vikings to go to their first Super Bowl.
• Cheering the Falcons as they left Suwanee for the Super Bowl.
As a lifelong fan, I have raised my sons to be great Falcon fans. I truly believe this is the Falcons year to win the Super Bowl!!! Go Falcons!!!

We are UNCONDITIONAL Falcons Fans!! Back in 1999, my family was there to greet the Falcons players as they got off the bus in Suwanee. We cheered them on and welcomed our tired players home as they returned from Super Bowl XXXIII. My boys were only 5 and 9 years old but that experience stirred such an excitement in them and they vowed they would be Falcons Fans forever! We have loved our Dirty Birds throughout the years and have NEVER been fair weathered fans - my boys would NOT let us! Watching the Falcons play each week is the one activity that brings 3 generations of my family together. My dad (pictured) always spends the day with us and even our dog has to wear her jersey on game day. We are even keeping our Falcons Christmas tree up until they return home from winning the Super Bowl! GO FALCONS - RISE UP ATLANTA

I have been the biggest Falcons fan forever. Growing up in Chattanooga I would watch Steve Barkowski and the Falcons every Sunday. When I move to GA, The Gritz Blitz and Leeman Bennett gave me great joy! Then later I went to my first game in 1980 at Atlanta Fulton County Stadium and then I was hooked! When the Dome opened, I bought season tickets in 92 and kept them ever since through thick and thin! Dan Reeves and the 98 Falcons was the highlight! I was 30 feet away when Jamal Anderson scored the touchdown in the last few seconds to put us in the NFC Championship with Minnesota and Morten Anderson helped us catapult into the first Super Bowl in Falcon's history. Unfortunately, I lost my job in the last year as a result of the economy and have had to sell most of my season tickets already paid for . I would love to go support my birds to help propel them to the NFC Championship if I were fortunate enough to win. Falcons Fan for Life!!! :-)

I have the #1 falcons fans that are a friends of mine. Since they moved to Ga in the early 90's they have been #1 fans. They live in Flower Branch not far from the training camp. They use to be season ticket holders but 4 yrs ago my friend had knee surgery and has not be able to do anything but stay in the house since then. Alot of things didn't go while with the surgery and she has had to have 4 more surgery after that one. Then find out that she also has lupus disease.Every game week they put out they falcons blow up in the yard, they falcons guy on the fireplace, their dogs have falcons collars and bandannas on also their falcons appeal on and sit back and enjoy the game with friends and family. I am born and raised in Ga and they are the BIGGEST FALCONS Fans that I have ever know. This would be the best gift ever to take them to a playoff game.

I am an Atlanta Falcons fan, win or lose. The Falcons get a lot of grief for no play off wins, but for a true Falcons fan that shouldn't matter. Don't get me wrong, I would love for the Falcons to win the Super Bowl more than anyone. However, I will be a devoted fan no matter how long it takes the Falcons to get there. Whatever the outcome of Sunday's game or any other Atlanta Falcons game, this fan will be cheering Smitty and the rest of the team until the final second.

we would watch the Falcons practice all the time when they were in Suwanee, even greeted them when they came home late in the evening after winning the playoffs back in the 90's. It would be a great thrill to go see the Falcons defeat the Seahawks on Sunday!

I'm a New York transplant and was always a Giants fan. For the last few years I have been following the Falcons and think they are a great team, with great energy and awesome community spirit. I have been to one game but would love to be able to go to this one. It's going to be a great game and I'm sure they boys will "Rise UP"!

0

Meandmyboys 1 year, 3 months ago

It's been a pleasure reading everyone's reply, what great support for our Falcons. I think any entry, lucky enough to be picked, will represent the Falcons and fan base well, RISE UP FALCONS!

Growing up in a household full of boys, it didn't take long for me to obtain a love of sports, especially football. We all had our favorites, my Dad and 4 brother's love of the Redskins, two other brother's love for the Cowboys, one brother's love for the Eagles, and then there was me. I'm not sure why I strayed from the rest, maybe to stand out on my own or because I have good taste ;-), but I did and it has always been the Falcons for me, win or lose. When I married my husband, who was always a KC fan, there was so much excitement in our house when the Falcons got Gonzalez, he was converted! :-) Now we are raising 2 boys who love and appreciate the game, especially our Falcons.

I love watching their excitement, the dancing, yelling, cheering, etc..., when they are watching the Falcons on TV, I mean isn't that what it's all about? It would be a dream of all of ours to take them to a real live game. I would love to finally answer my 6 year old when he ask, "When can we go see them for real?" with today, we're going today! It would be one of those moments that would require the camera rolling. I can guarantee you if we are chosen, we will be the loudest section in the Dome.

Good luck everyone and Go Dirty Birds - Time to RISE UP!

I have been a die hard Falcons fan for some time now! Whenever the game is on, I am watching!! I have a corner that is dedicated to the Falcons at the house! :) Im usually watching the games with my bestfriend (my sis) and my brother in law. For the last few years we've tried to atleast make it to one game together, but this year was a little different! On December 22nd, my sister gave birth to our familys newest falcons fan, Ryleigh Ann. These tickets would mean so much to me, I would be able to take my sis and brother in law out for the first time since having her (which may not be an easy task, but they would come!)! Come on Atlanta , Its time to RISE UP!!

He has been looking for work and going on many many many job interviews but tickets to this game would just give him some good motivation that there is something to look forward to!! We could go and take our two children which would make it a PERFECT day for the family! Please pick us!

I am the biggest Falcon fan because of my dedication to the team. I will do anything to see my dirty birds play on Sunday (and sometimes Monday). A perfect example is the game I went to a couple of seasons ago when we played the Packers right after thanksgiving. I did not have season tickets but I tried to see every home game that season, regardless. I had 75 bucks in my pocket, an expensive omega watch on my wrist, and a Matt Ryan jersey on my back. Only thing I didn't have was a ticket. I bought one from a scalper for all my money and got lower level seats. Thought I had a pretty good deal until I got to the gate and found out it was a fake. I was furious and tried to find the guy that sold me my ticket but he was long gone. I wasn't going to miss this game though. I ended up finding a guy with one 50 yard line field level ticket he was trying to get rid of. Having no money to pay for this expensive ticket, though, I had to improvise and barter. I traded the guy my jersey and my watch for the ticket but now I was shirtless. Not a problem... I found a group of tailgaters painting up for the game, got my Matty Ice jersey painted on my body and went in to the best game I've ever been to, as we beat the cheese heads 20-17. I should thank that scalper, he gave me a great story and I don't regret one part of it! Send me to the playoff game, I'm fresh out of jerseys and time pieces!

Read you are looking for the biggest Falcons fan to win an AWESOME set of tickets and parking pass to the BIGGEST game since 1998 !!! Well look no further, here we are.Our family is the most die hard Atlanta fans in the city and would LOVE to arrive at the Georgia Dome on Sunday and show everyone how much noise four rabid Falcons can make. Watching games every year as a family has become a great tradition for us, one that we look forward to every season. Four Club level seats ? Wow, what a upgrade that is compared to sitting on the berm behind McDonalds watching them practice in Suwanee with my sons. I am sure the memories from this upcoming game would be just as unforgettable as those many summer afternoons ago.

I have been a hardcore Falcons fan ALL of my life, ask anyone. I actually won the NFL.com "Fan Flag Challenge" as the Atlanta Falcons representative, where I designed our beautiful new fan flag and waved it proudly at the NFL opening kickoff night in New York City!! My passion for the team, and for the concept of Rising Up (which I incorporated to the flag) is without rival. Now, as a State employee, I have gone 5 + years with no raise, and getting to Falcons game (especially with tickets going for over $100) has become nearly impossible….and it's a major tease as I literally work a few blocks away from the Dome! As the Fan Flag representative, I'd love nothing more than to represent my city locally and DEFEND THE DOME! No one yells louder than I do, and if you select me, I'll do everything in my power to help distract Mr. Russell Wilson at the line of scrimmage and make you proud of your selection! RISE UP FALCONS!!!

I think my boyfriend, Rudy, should win these tickets. He is an outstanding guy! He takes care of me. our daughter, and my other kids without blinking an eye. He fixes dinner for us every night (he is an AMAZING cook!!) I could sing his praises all day. But another reason is because he was born and raised in Chicago and moved to Atlanta in 2003. He became a Falcons fan IMMEDIATELY! He left the Bears in Chicago where they belong!! He is a die hard Falcon fan now and always will be. Wears his Falcons hat almost every day. Never misses a game either! So, please choose him!!!!

My 11 yr old son knows everything there is to know about the Falcons. He lives & breathes football. He looks up to many of the Falcons as roll models. He wants to be a professional player or a sports analyst when he grows up. He does a great job calling plays while playing Madden football on the Wii. His birthday was Jan 2nd which is a hard birthday for a kid ...so close to the holidays. I think seeing the Falcons play on Sunday would be his greatest day ever!

Our family has been Falcon fans for a long time. We wear out shirts and watch every game on tv. My husbands birthday on Monday, so this would be the perfect gift to give him to watch his favorite team.

Since moving to Atlanta in the late 70's, I have been an avid Falcon Fan! Unlike many others that move here, I dropped my allegience to the NY teams, bought season tickets and never missed a home game! I stayed an avid fan even when there were very few people in the stands at the old Fulton County stadium! For the last 15 years, we have been tailgating in the gulch with an awesome group of people from all over GA that we have met over the years at the games. They can't believe that I won't be with them on Sunday organizing the menu as I have done for so many years; but, due to losing my job, I just didn't have the finances to purchase the playoff tickets! I am absolutely crushed!! The tailgate gang is also concerned that my lucky deviled eggs won't be on the menu -- Yes, we never lost a home game when the eggs were there and all eaten!! At the Tampa game, the entire group was not there, so the deviled eggs didn't get all eaten, and see what happened!! So, it would mean everything to me to be at the game Sunday! I also have 2 friends that couldn't purchase season tickets this year, due to both of them losing their jobs, and they had had season tickets for 20 years! please choose four avid and loud Falcon Fans for these tickets!! Thanks! Go Falcons!!

My husband and I LOVE football. We have always loved the Falcons, but have never been to a game. Money is tight right now (which I am sure it is for most people), so we just watch it on tv. This would be the best date ever for us. We haven't been on a date in almost 6 years! We have been together 9 years on January 19th, so this would be a great gift for us. Please, please pick us!!!!

Hello GDP, I am the eldest boy at 19 in a family of four boys. This new year I have committed to a simple resolution, which was to become much more family oriented. It has already been incredibly rewarding to spend more time with my "evil twin" brother (who is actually one year younger but no one can tell us apart) and my two growing brothers, at the ages of 11 and 9. Already the two little ones can dish out stats and facts about NFL history way before their time. And the one team that brings us all together is our home town Atlanta Falcons team. So to sum this up, my story is that I ask you Gwinnett Daily Post to please send my three best friends and I to our first playoff game to see the falcons RISE UP! .
