Jonathan Salem of Far Hills, N.J., and Melinda Salem of Walnut Creek, Calif., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Nicole Salem of Los Angeles, to Stephen James Fell of Los Angeles, son of Mr. and Mrs. George E. Fell IV, of Snellville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ralph and Elizabeth Salem of England and Rafael and Maria Clara Lucila of the Phillipines. She is a graduate of the Punahou School in Hawaii, Loyola Marymount University, where she received a bachelor's degree, and New York University, where she receieved a master's degree. She is employed with TMZ as a web producer and editor.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. George E. Fell III and the late Mr. and Mrs. John J. McGorty. He is a 2001 graduate of South Gwinnett High School and a 2005 graduate of Rice University. He is employed as a filmmaker in Los Angeles.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 24 in Paso Robles, Calif.
