Don and Pam Head of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Elizabeth Head of Athens, to Gabriel Diego Egas of Athens, son of Diego and Angela Egas of Lilburn.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Rudolph and Ruth Rooks of Lawrenceville and the late Floyd and Margaret Head. She is a 2007 graduate of Dacula High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Georgia. She is employed with Rocky Branch Academy in Bogart as an assistant preschool teacher.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Henry and Helen Brooks and the late Gabriel and Eulalia Egas. He is a 2008 graduate of Parkview High School and is attending the University of Georgia. He is employed with the Army National Guard.
The wedding is planned for Nov. 16.
