ATLANTA — Police are searching for a group of gunmen who carjacked two cars from a man and a woman outside an Atlanta library.
Andrew Hogans says that he was leaving the Northside branch library on Northside Parkway and had only made it 15 feet or so into the parking lot when a young man pointed a gun at his head.
Hogans says the gunman threatened to kill him if he didn't turn over his belongings during the Wednesday crime. Authorities said four teens then carjacked Hogans' black Acura.
Police say the group also carjacked a woman who was walking to her Lexus around the same time.
Police later recovered the woman's Lexus on Joseph E. Boone Boulevard in northwest Atlanta and were checking it for fingerprints.
