LETTERS: Suwanee attorney will be missed

On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to express condolences to the family, colleagues and friends of longtime attorney John Leon Adair Sr. of Suwanee on his recent passing.

Mr. Adair's exemplary career in the legal profession spanned more than half a century, including 47 years as a Georgia Bar member. His expertise was in labor law, having represented the National Labor Relations Board in Tampa, Fla., before he moved to Georgia and his firm represented the Communication Workers of America. He also served his country as an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

All Georgia lawyers can be inspired by our colleague's dedication and career-long efforts to promote the cause of justice, uphold the rule of law and protect the rights of all citizens. He will be missed by all who knew him.
