Highlights: Scored 28 points in the finals and earned MVP honors as the Falcons won the Sunshine Classic in Daytona, Fla. Scored 14 and 27 in Dacula's other two tourney games.
Coach Russ Triaga's take: "Jaylen played exceptionally well in all phases of the game throughout the Sunshine Classic. His ability to get to the rim off the dribble opened up jump shots whenever he wanted. Defensively he was solid containing his guy while providing help when needed. He as always rebounded misses and got us into transition. Once there, he made solid decisions getting other players open looks helping to keep us efficient offensively. His numbers 22 points per game, six rebounds per game and four assists per game speak for themselves. However, I was most proud of the leadership he displayed on and off the court throughout the trip as a senior co-captain."
