Man found dead at Duluth apartment complex April 19, 2014

Bobby Lee Cobb, age 79 of Suwanee, GA, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the son of Fred Cobb and Callie Ree Padgett Cobb. He was born and raised in Spalding County. Bobby was an attorney with his own law practice for over 40 years. He also worked as a Judge for DeKalb County and was a Justice of the Peace. Bobby was active in his community as a 32nd degree Mason and President of the Doraville Jaycees. He was witty, fun loving and charitable. But most of all he was a family man who adored his wife of 57 years, his children and grandchildren. Bobby spent much of his spare time coaching youth sports in North DeKalb. His favorite hobbies were boating, classic cars and flying planes. He spent his retired years enjoying time with family and friends. Bobby was preceded in death by his loving parents, older brother Fred Ellis Cobb and sister Ruby Cobb Hill. He is survived by his beloved wife Shirley Malone Cobb; daughter Connie Belling and her husband Don Belling; son Rob Cobb and his wife Kelly Cobb; son Randy Cobb and his wife Lynne Cobb; and grandchildren, Jason Belling, Ryan Belling, Alex Cobb, Adam Cobb, Lindsey Cobb, Rachel Cobb and Sarah Cobb. Visitation for Bobby L. Cobb will be on Friday, January 4, 2012 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home, 5051 Peachtree Ind. Blvd., Peachtree Corners, GA 30092.
