Escape Fire: The Fight to Rescue American Healthcare (PG-13)
Movie: 3 and 1/2 stars out of 4
Disc: 3 stars out of 4
Far more enlightening than it is entertaining, "Escape Fire" is an ear-pinning documentary that refutes the mostly uninformed, far-left spin of Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" and Michael Moore's "Sicko" and applies it to what should be the biggest concern facing every U.S. citizen. Calling into question an industry valuing disease over health, quantity over quality and the bottom-line over actual results, "Escape Fire" is a movie that will irk you to no end and maybe -- just maybe -- will stir your ire to the boiling point. If you need a heavier incentive to watch this film -- take a look at your children and the tab that is awaiting them not too far down the road.
