DULUTH -- A new traffic signal will soon be operational in Duluth, state transportation officials said.
The signal placed at the intersection of Duluth Highway and Meadowbrook Parkway/Legacy Parkway will begin flashing Thursday. If testing goes well and weather permits, the signal will be fully operational in a week.
"Please slow down through the area while crews finish their work. Once the signal is operational, be cautious until you get familiar with the changes," said Georgia DOT District traffic engineer Scott Zehngraff.
The operational date is tentatively set for Thursday, March 7.
