EAST POINT -- Kelly Geary scored five goals for South Gwinnett as the Comets girls soccer team took town Tri-Cities 7-0.
Gaby Silva and Iman Williams each scored a goal and added an assist for South (1-2).
Miranda Rolon added another assist and Ashlee Perkins took the shutout in goal.
GIRLS SOCCER
Providence 2, Calvary Day 1
SAVANNAH -- Katharine Slayton scored both goals for the Storm in a 2-1 win over Calvary Day.
Julie Trawick and Bekah Henry each had assists for Providence (2-3), which rallied from a 1-0 halftime deficit.
BOYS SOCCER
Collins Hill 1, Tri-Cities 0
EAST POINT -- Freshman Carlos Cuenca scored his first varsity goal and it was the difference in Collins Hill's (2-1) win over Tri-Cities.
Providence 3, Calvary Day 0
SAVANNAH -- Harry Heusel, Bokwon Lee and Yi Wu all scored a goal in Providence's (2-3) shutout of Calvary Day.
BOYS LACROSSE
GAC 17, Fellowship Christian 7
NORCROSS -- Peter Whiteneck scored five goals and assisted on two others in GAC's 17-7 over Fellowship Christian.
Whit Anderson scored four goals and had two assists, Conor Finneran scored two goals and had 10 groundballs and goalie Brad Hodobal had nine saves for the Spartans (2-0).
GIRLS LACROSSE
Collins Hill 17, Wesleyan 10
NORCROSS -- Abby Squires scored six goals and Emily Natierala added five as Collins Hill beat Wesleyan 17-10.
Anna Britt scored three goals and Alyssa Quinones and Emma Gilbert each had two assists for the Eagles (1-0). Goalie Abby Booth had eight saves in the win.
For Wesleyan (0-2), Lindsay Moore scored four goals.
