Lowe -- Door
Kevin and Laura Lowe of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Lowe, of Atlanta, to Timothy Dorr of Atlanta, son of John and Barbara Dorr, of Windham, N.H.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Violet Thomas, of Forsyth, the late Rev. Leaman Thomas and the late Rev. and Mrs. William Lowe. She is a graduate of Brookwood High School and is employed with the Gwinnett YMCA.
The future groom is a graduate of Salem High School and Georgia Tech.The wedding is planned for Aug. 17 in Atlanta.
