HAMRICK, JESSE BUD
Jesse Bud Hamrick, 85, of Norcross, GA, died February 19, 2013. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 21st, at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home in Norcross. Burial will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 20th, at the funeral home. Mr. Hamrick was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Atlantic Steel. He was a faithful Christian, member of Norcross First Baptist Church and former member of the Lions Club. He loved traveling, gardening, playing bingo and being with his family. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 65 years, Annie Pearl Hamrick of Norcross; son, Jeff (Andrea) Hamrick of Duluth; daughters, Joyce (Curtis) Franklin of Lawrenceville, Janice (Terry) Bowie of Norcross, Ann (Tim) Hodnett of Snellville, and Cindy (Scottie Coggins) Hamrick of Lawrenceville; sisters, Annette Webb and Martha Jo Haines; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; countless nieces and nephews; and Kirk Dunlap, who is considered a son and special friend.
