COLLEGE PARK — Authorities say six people are recovering from injuries are a MARTA bus and a car collided south of Atlanta.
Fulton County police said one of the six was airlifted to a hospital after the Tuesday night wreck.
Investigators say that the bus was heading south on Roosevelt Highway when it tried to turn left onto Buffington Road in front of a northbound Toyota Corolla.
Fulton County police Sgt. Scott McBride said the adult male driver of the Toyota was airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center. His female passenger was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Four adults on the bus were taken to Grady with injuries described as not life-threatening.
The bus is part of the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority.
