Essie Videra “Sally” Cooper, 87, of Norcross, GA, died February 13, 2013. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16th, at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home in Norcross. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, February 15th, at the funeral home. Mrs. Cooper was a homemaker and member of Nancy Creek Primitive Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, gardener, and cook. She was also considered a mother to many, many others. Preceded in death by her husband, Harold Willis Cooper, she is survived by her sons, Gary (Pauline) Cooper of Lawrenceville and Robert Cooper of Suwanee; daughters, Helen (Jerry) Hall of Cocoa, FL, Joyce (Morris) Payne of Buford, and Carolyn (Paul Evans) Cooper of Lawrenceville; eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
