Skyfall Blu-ray (PG-13)
Movie: 3 stars out of four stars Disc: 3.5 stars out of 4 stars
Although the best Daniel Craig Bond movie thus far and the finest executed franchise effort of the last decade, "Skyfall" still suffers slightly from an overlong running time, a non-existent love interest and Craig's too serious approach to the character. On the other hand, it's bolstered by a terrific villain (Javier Bardem), jolting shifts in supporting character alignment and a killer theme song by Adele. The dozen plus featurettes make this a must own for any longtime fan and a great primer for any newcomers interested in checking out the 007 back catalogue.
