Seven Lanier basketball players made the All-Region 8-AAAA Basketball Team, including a pair of first-team selections.
Sophomore guard Shelby Threlkeld made the girls' first team and senior guard Jordan Harper was a boys first-team honoree. Threlkeld earned the honor for the second straight season.
Junior guard Lauren Brown made the girls second team and teammates Amber Cesair and Taylor-Rose Gibson-Green earned honorable mention acclaim. Junior post Simon Shafack made the boys second team and Paul Webb was an honorable mention choice.
