The Gwinnett Tipoff Club has announced its January players of the month, which honors the county's best in boys and girls high school basketball.
Parkview was named the girls team of the month and its coach, Tony Watkins, was voted the top girls coach for January. The boys' top awards went to Peachtree Ridge and Archer's Tim Watkins as coach of the month.
Each Gwinnett team also had one boy and one girl selected as player of the month. Those selections are as follows:
Archer: Nafis Floyd, Morgan Jackson
Berkmar: Bradley Holmes, Daijah Cooke
Brookwood: Kendall Joseph, Taiylor Rinehart
Buford: Isaiah Williams, Kristina Nelson
Central Gwinnett: Neal Hodges, Briana McGee
Collins Hill: Eric Ambrosio, Brittany Stowers
Dacula: Kevon Tucker, Faustine Aifuwa
Duluth: Kai Lambert, Alyah McGriff
GAC: Troy Morrison, CiiCii Buford
Grayson: Pierre Mason, Jessica Ewing
Hebron: Noah Herrin, Amber Skidgel
