ATLANTA — Forecasters are warning of the potential for flash flooding in Georgia as heavy rain continued to fall in many parts of the state.
The National Weather Service issued a flash flood watch for parts of north and central Georgia. It was scheduled to run until 1 p.m. Monday.
The flash flood watch includes Gwinnett, Atlanta, Athens, Columbus, LaGrange and Macon.
