Archer's junior varsity boys basketball team won the Region 8-AAAAAA JV tournament title this week with a championship game win over Central Gwinnett.
The Tigers finished with a 12-5 record, including a 10-1 record in their last 11 games.
They defeated host Grayson and rallied for a win over Brookwood to reach the tourney finals under coach Branden Mayweather.
Cedric Walter was named to the all-tournament team and Darrion Taylor was named the tournament MVP.
Other members of the team are Isaiah Daugherty, Tevin Ryles, Romello Hutcherson, Dylan Singleton, Ali Brock, Chaz-London Boards, Duncan Whitehead, Aleem Ford, Jeremiah Buford, Kwei Kwei Lartey, Matt Stringer, Kevin Blair, Bill Carr and Fontaine Thompson.
