HAMPTON — Hampton’s annual Chocolate Fest is set for Feb. 16.
Main Street Director Candy Franklin said the event will feature a “Chocolate at Tiffany’s” theme and will include dancing, a cocoa bar and door prizes.
Franklin said she expects dozens of individuals and families to participate in this year’s social. About 80 people attended the event last year.
The event will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Historic Hampton Depot, 17 East Main St. Tickets are $10 per person at the door.
Franklin said proceeds from the event will support future Main Street projects and events.
One such event is the city’s Fifth Annual Yellow Pollen Street Festival to be held March 16 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Franklin said event envelops the downtown area with games, educational displays, a model train display in the depot, arts, crafts and food. Organizers are accepting vendor applications at yellowpollen@charter.net.
