Daniel Yoon now has a unique college to go with his unique nickname.
Known around the Greater Atlanta Christian campus as "Panda," the rapidly improving offensive lineman is bound for Saint Anselm College, an NCAA Division II program in southern New Hampshire. The small Catholic school, with an enrollment of approximately 2,000, was founded in 1889.
"It's a great fit for him," said GAC head coach Tim Hardy, who added that Yoon is known around GAC for his "contagious enthusiasm, vibrant personality and recognizable nickname."
Yoon, a 6-foot-2, 245-pounder, started at right tackle for GAC's playoff team last season.
