Buford girls soccer player Ann Schmidt signed with the Univeristy of Alabama-Birmingham on Wednesday. She is the daughter of Paul and Susan Schmidt.
As a junior, Schmidt helped the Wolves reach the Class AA state semifinals with a 16-6 record. She's been a four-year starter and a three-year captain. Schmidt plays club soccer for Atlanta Fire United and in the elite club national league the last four years.
