William Houston, Iii.

William Mitchell Houston III., 17 months old, of Duluth, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 1, 2013. A memorial service was held Tuesday, February 5th, at 4:00 p.m. at Norcross First United Methodist Church in Norcross, GA. The family received friends Tuesday, February 5th from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Will enjoyed spending time with his family, playing with trucks, his beloved dog Southern and his best friend Mickey Mouse. He was very observant, loved Christmas lights, throwing and kicking balls, swimming and running outside. His favorite shows were Yo Gabba Gabba! and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. He attended The Music Class in Suwanee and loved hearing music and playing with his friends. Some of his favorite things to eat were M&Ms, Cracker Barrel carrots, Chick-fil-A and milkshakes. Will loved bath time, bed time stories, and his favorite book was “Goodnight Moon”. He was a very loving and affectionate child, son, nephew and grandson. He is survived by his parents, Billy and Rebecca Houston, Jr. of Duluth, GA; paternal grandparents, Billy and Mary Houston, Sr. of Richmond, VA; maternal grandparents, William and Donna Purcell of Buford, GA; Uncle and Aunt, Alex and Susan Harrod and cousins, Chase and Conner of Dacula, GA; Uncle and Aunt Justin and Stacy Taylor, cousins Cole, Anna and Kylee of Locust Grove, GA; great grandparents Bob and Helen Alig of Dayton, OH and great grandmother Lottie Houston of Sylvester, GA. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Mari Emily Houston. Flowers will be accepted at the church or donations can be made in honor of Will to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at http://fundraising.stjude.org/goto/WillHouston.
