2 Ga. men arrested on sex trafficking, rape charges

TUCKER — Police in DeKalb County have arrested two men on charges of sex trafficking, rape, false imprisonment and drug offenses.

DeKalb County Police Spokeswoman Mekka Parish says 28-year-old Kamau Benjamin and 22-year-old Anthony Means were arrested Jan. 30 after police executed a search warrant.

Parish says an 18-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl are receiving treatment for prolonged exploitation, and detectives are working to identify additional victims. Parish says the older of the two victims has been exploited by the men since she was 16. Parish says the women were likely physically abused, raped, deprived of food and provided with narcotics.

It is unclear if the men have lawyers, and Parish says police are working to identify people who paid to have sex with the victims.
