Carter Clinebell (132 pounds) and Mitchell Shea (195) each claimed Region 4-AA crowns, helping GAC to a second-place region finish and a spot in next week's sectionals in Dublin.
GAC which finished behind Jefferson had wrestling place in 13 of the 14 weight classes only missing a top-4 finish at 170.
Finishing second were Brandon Bradley (113), Trent Scates (138) and Hunter Martin (182). Kyle Politz (120), Wyatt Vaughn (126), Josh Snyder (145), Adam Nakada (152), Aiden Jarrett (160), Connor Crumrine (220) and Brayden Long (heavy weight) all finished third. Hunter Hemmings (106) finished fourth for the Spartans.
