Bears' Elam commits to Charleston football

Mountain View running back Marvin Elam committed to the University of Charleston (W.Va.) on Friday.

The 5-foot-10, 205-pound Elam rushed for 1,001 yards and nine touchdowns to earn second-team Region 7-AAAAAA honors this year.

Charleston is a Division II school that plays in the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and was ranked No. 25 in the nation.
