The seventh-grade girls basketball team from Cornerstone Christian Academy in Norcross won the North Atlanta Metro League's Class A Championship this week at Bridgeway Christian Academy in Alpharetta.
The team is coached by Sara Fogle and Chuck Faust.
Members of the championship team are Abigail Verna, Alexis Cosey, Karis Perusek, Imari Karanja, Anna Edwards, Meredith Tjepkema, Mary Janell Tredway, Mimi Taylor, Emma Prothero, Hannah Hufham and Kea Lee.
