DULUTH Marjorie Fairley Marjorie Irene Fairley, 101, of Duluth, GA died December 19, 2013. The funeral service will be held, Monday, December 23, 2013 at 4:00 PM at Bill Head Funeral Home Duluth Chapel. Burial will follow at a later date at Resthaven Memorial Park, Duncan, OK. Mrs. Fairley, was an active homemaker until the age of 92, she was retired from J. C. Penney, and was a member of the Disciples of Christ Church in Duncan, OK and Cushing, OK, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was heavily involved in Bible Studies in Duncan, OK, Yale, OK and Duluth, GA. Originally born in Sedan, KS, Marjorie raised her family in OK, and moved to Duluth, GA in 2004 and lived at the Parc at Duluth Retirement Home. Preceded in death by her husbands, Harold M. Nelson and Al V. Fairley; grandson, Christopher J. Nelson; sisters, Myrna Fairley, Meomia Henderson, Muriel Murrell and Menifee Cullen; niece, Barbara Ryan; nephew, John Max Henderson; she is survived by her, daughter, Phyllis Kay Nelson of Johns Creek, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Roger Dean and JoAnn Nelson of Sand Springs, OK and Gary Ray and Virginia Nelson of Culpepper, VA; grandchildren, Byron David Nelson, Michael Ray Nelson and Leslie Diane Nelson-Barrick; great grandchildren, Taylor Ray Nelson, Jamie Kathleen Nelson, Jennifer Rose Nelson-Barrick and Patrick Allan Nelson-Barrick; 7 nieces and nephews.
