DULUTH — The city of Duluth’s Toys for Tots campaign was on overwhelming success.

Duluth Police Department spokesman Maj. Don Woodruff said a total of 10 large boxes were collected this week from several drop-off points across the city. The toys were then taken to the Toys for Tots central collection center in Norcross.

While the effort was coordinated by the police department, all city departments participated, Woodruff said.

“This was a very successful campaign and will be coordinated again next year,” Woodruff said. “The city would like to thank everyone for their generosity and participation.”
