NORCROSS — Throughout the month of December, the city of Norcross has been celebrating the holidays with games, strolls and pageants — but it doesn’t stop there.
Now through Christmas Eve, there are more activities for residents to get into for the season.
Today through Sunday, the Lionheart Theatre is presenting three adult evenings of original short plays and a Christmas party with food, music and dancing.
Tickets are $12 to $15.
For more information, visit www.lionhearttheatre.org. Lionheart is located at 10 College St. in Norcross.
On Monday, “The Great Gatsby” is being shown at the same location for free at 1:30 p.m.
If you’re not finished shopping for everyone on your list, several stores in downtown are open on Christmas Eve.
On Dec. 24, Anna Balkan’s Designer Jewelry Gallery is open until 6 p.m., Taste of Britain until 3 p.m., The Shops of Antique Traditions, Good Things Home & Garden and Chalk It Up until 2 p.m., The Purple Poppy Shoppe until 1:30 p.m., and DressUp Boutique until noon.
Need a bit after last minute shopping? There are plenty of restaurants open to help you re-fuel.
Each eatery has select hours, but here’s what’s open on Christmas Eve: Dominicks, Iron Horse Tavern, Mojito’s Cuban Bistro, Paizanos and Z’Apata.
