Duluth senior captains Chandler, Hembree commit to college swimming and diving programs

Allison Chandler and Erin Hembree, the senior captains of Duluth’s swimming and diving teams, have made recent commitments to college programs.

Chandler, a four-year member of the Wildcats’ program, chose the University of Tampa. The first-team all-county swimmer holds school records in the 100-yard butterfly, the 100 backstroke and the 200 medley relay. She is the daughter of Chris and Alicia Chandler.

Hembree, also a four-year member of Duluth’s program, committed to Georgia Southern as a diver. The first-team all-county selection was the Gwinnett County runner-up and a Class AAAAAA finalist in diving last season. She is the daughter of Mitch and Dorothy Hembree.
