Open meeting to be held about Partnership Gwinnett

Gwinnett’s government leaders will be discuss economic development at Wednesday’s meeting of the Partnership Gwinnett Public Funding Entity.

The nonprofit was created this year as a companion to the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce-lead Partnership Gwinnett effort. With a board representing the governmental organizations, including the county, school district, cities and community improvement districts, the public funding entity is intended to provide more transparency for the government funding that has gone toward the economic development partnership.

The meeting of the 501c6 organization is scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday. Open to the public, the meeting will take place at the Rhodes Jordan Park Community Center in Lawrenceville.
