Barbecue restaurant seeking nominations for surprise holiday dinners
Sonny’s BBQ is launching its first-ever Random Acts of BBQ initiative this holiday season. From now through Jan. 15, Sonny’s BBQ will solicit nominations from guests who want to surprise a deserving friend, family or member of their community with a fully-catered, delicious holiday feast. According to a news release, submissions can range from nominating a well-deserved Little League coach who has trained a generation of future all stars to nominating a loved one who was laid off and is still struggling to find a job. “Random Acts of BBQ is all about helping others feel the warmth of giving,” said Bob Yarmuth, CEO of Sonny’s BBQ. “This holiday season we’re teaming up with our guests in each of the nine states where we operate to help those in need or reward those who have acted selflessly to help improve our communities.”
Nominations can be submitted through the promotion’s website, randomactsofbbq.com, by filling out the form. Up to 100 recipients will be selected for the holiday feasts. Each holiday feast winner will receive their choice of a spiral cut ham or smoked turkey dinner with all the fixings and side items, including Sonny’s BBQ’s Homestyle Banana Pudding.
