WINDER — Bob Dixon, the incumbent Winder city councilman being challenged by political newcomer Lorin Sinn-Clark, will keep his council seat, according to unofficial runoff election results.

The 78-year-old received 376 votes to Clark’s 323 votes, a difference of 53 votes.

Dixon’s top priorities include completing the Yargo raw water system, developing a city communication system that uses social media and Winder’s TV station, continuing to develop programs such as the Opportunity Zone and the Fire Line Discounts and working with the county government on service delivery.
