SNELLVILLE — A teenager was reportedly hit by a vehicle Wednesday evening outside the Centerville Community Center south of Snellville.
Fire officials confirmed that a teenage male was transported to Egleston Children’s Hospital in emergency status, although Police Sgt. Brian Doan said doctors at the hospital said the injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
The driver remained on the scene, and likely will not be charged in the incident, which occurred at about 5:30 p.m. when the teen ran across Bethany Church Road toward the library, Doan said.
