LAWRENCEVILLE — Aurora Theatre is looking for lively teen actors to play the undead.
On Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., the venue is hosting an informational meeting for creative middle and high school students that are interested in playing zombies during the annual Terror on the Trail event.
At the meeting, students and parents will learn how to transform an average teenager into a full-fledged zombie tour guide as well as time and date commitments. Those teens hired will be paid a small stipend and are not expected to participate every night.
The event runs the last three weekends in October at Sims Lake Park in Suwanee.
The zombies lead the attendees through the 1.2-mile loop around the lake to tell stories while spooking at the same time. The nightly tours begin at 7:30 p.m. with the last tour starting at 9:30 p.m. Tours last approximately 75 minutes.
The Aurora Theatre is located at 128 E. Pike St. in Lawrenceville. For more information about Terror on the Trail, visit www.terroronthetrail.com.
