DULUTH — One of Gwinnett’s biggest business opportunities will be under way Thursday.
More than 150 exhibitors will participant in the annual Gwinnett Chamber Business Expo and Job Fair.
The free expo and job fair features exhibits from local business, seminars from top business experts and professioanl development on a variety of business topics, from social media to building a sustainable organization. The job fair is touted as the place to meet with human resources from professionals from leading local companies looking to hire.
Attendees can participant in a silent auction, which requires scavenging the booths to obtain “credits” to bid on items. The prizes include tickets to Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Braves tickets, as well as the Gwinnett Gladiators, Lake Lanier Canopy Zip Line passes, gift certificates and more.
The event begins at noon, as many Chamber members and leaders participate in a general membership luncheon featuring new President and CEO Daniel Kaufman, giving his inaugural speech to the membership. That portion of the event is not free.
The job fair and expo continues until 5 p.m. at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, with seminars scheduled from 1:15 p.m. until 3:20 p.m.
