SUWANEE — Peachtree Ridge opened Region 7-AAAAAA play Tuesday night with a 10-9 victory over visiting Mountain View in eight innings.
Peachtree Ridge (4-3, 1-0) was led by Andie McGregor and Wynter Webb who each went 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Savannah Turvey, who went 3-for-5 with two RBIs. Ashley Cook picked up the win for the Lions.
Habersham 10, Duluth 1
DULUTH — Duluth suffered its first loss of the season at home on Tuesday night, losing 10-1 to Habersham Central.
Duluth (5-1, 1-1) was led by Haley Wallace, who went 2-for-3, and Lyndsay McKinney, who was 1-for-2 with a triple.
Providence 7, Hebron 1
LILBURN — Hebron opened region play Tuesday evening losing to Providence 7-1.
Becca Wilson drove in Hannah Atkinson for the run, while Atkinson went 2-for-3 with a double. Emily Helton also had a double for Hebron (0-1).
Abigail Roberson picked up the win for Providence (2-6, 1-0 in Region 6-A) by pitching a complete game with one earned run. She was also 1-for-3 at the plate with an RBI and one run scored.
MacKenzie Tuttle went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and one run scored, while Katy Barry went 2-for-2 with a double and three runs scored. Emily Barnett also contributed two runs scored while going 1-for-3 at the plate.
Mill Creek 6, Collins Hill 1
HOSCHTON — Mill Creek earned a 6-1 victory over Collins Hill at home on Tuesday evening.
Shelley Mooney had two hits for Collins Hill while Amanda Chance had an RBI double and registered five strikeouts on the mound.
Grayson 3, Brookwood 2
SNELLVILLE — Grayson earned a 3-2 victory on the road Tuesday night.
Bree Etheridge got the win for Grayson, improving to 2-0 on the season with five strikeouts and four hits. Peyton Glover was 2-for-2 at the plate with two RBIs and one home run. Amanda Kemp had a sac fly and RBI, while Stephanie Schneider went 1-for-2 with a double.
South Gwinnett 8, Shiloh 0
SNELLVILLE — South Gwinnett defeated Shiloh on Tuesday evening 8-0, picking up a Region 8-AAAAAA win.
Courtney Jones had one hit and Elizabeth Humes had a double at the plate for Shiloh (4-4).
Parkview drops two on road
SANDY SPRINGS — Riverwood and Etowah each swept Parkview on Tuesday night, with Riverwood winning 25-12, 25-18 and Etowah winning 25-13, 25-18.
Parkview (0-4) was led by Nia Mitchell, who had 17 digs, two kills and an assist. Cori Harber finished with 12 assists, two kills and an assist, while Bernice McGriff added five kills, three digs and an assist. Rachel Rust also finished with nine digs, four kills and two blocks.
Wesleyan splits two games
MILTON — Wesleyan (5-3) earned a split on Tuesday night, defeating Cambridge in two sets 25-22, 25-12 and losing to Blessed Trinity in two sets 25-18, 25-14.
Hannah Hoskin led Wesleyan with seven aces, eight kills and 12 digs, while Ashley Moody recorded seven kills. Emma Bivings had six kills and eight digs, while Maddie Jones had three kills and two digs.

SUWANEE — Brookwood (2-6) earned its first two wins of the season Tuesday evening by defeating Collins Hill in three games 25-21, 20-25, 25-21 and Berkmar in two games 25-6, 25-5.
Amelia Collins and Kiera Shipman each had 12 kills, Blair Bolton had 11 kills, Clara Sims had eight kills, while Jordan Shipman was credited with 49 assists.
Collins Hill (5-5) bounced back to record a split with a 25-8, 25-12 sweep of Berkmar.
Imani Walker had nine kills and one block for the Eagles, while Jennifer Ahlswede had 40 assists and Courtney Oster had 15 kills, 10 digs and 3 assists on the night. Mamta Barry also had six kills.
Dacula splits on the road
BUFORD — Dacula (1-2) earned its first win of the year with a two-set victory Tuesday evening over Johnson 25-20, 25-17, but later dropped two sets to Buford 25-6, 25-4.
Lauryn Loalbo led Dacula with 10 kills and 10 digs, Caroline Hinton contributed 11 assists and Jennifer Vezeau had 12 digs on the night.

TYRONE — Mill Creek (3-5) lost in three games Tuesday evening to Sandy Creek 25-18, 19-25 and 25-21, but rebounded to defeat Northgate 25-15, 20-25 and 25-18 in three sets.
Cayla Graham led Mill Creek with 16 kills and two aces. Emily Rose had 18 kills and seven aces, while Carley Eiken had 40 assists and two aces. Freshmen Ariane Terry registered 13 digs and two aces.
