Lilburn Daze looking for sponsors

The Lilburn Woman’s Club (LWC) is soliciting sponsorships for the upcoming 40th annual Lilburn Daze Festival, which will be held Oct. 12th.

To commemorate the milestone event, the club is printing programs complete with a map and directory to hand out to an expected 10,000 visitors who will visit the festival. The proceeds from Lilburn Daze are used to address the needs of the greater Lilburn and Gwinnett communities. For example, within just the past year the LWC has:

• Presented scholarships to local high school seniors

• Presented scholarships to displaced homemakers who want/need to go back to college

• Donated P.E. equipment to one of the local elementary schools

• Donated hundreds of dollars and volunteer hours to several local elementary schools

• Sponsored a local Science Olympiad team

• Hosted the Lilburn Relay Rally which raised more than $23K for the American Cancer Society

• Helped raise more than $51K for the SBS Brain Injury Clubhouse which serves brain injury victims from all over the state of Georgia

• Sponsored the Lilburn Easter Egg Hunt

• Helped raise over $15K for the Gwinnett Community Clinic via the Run the Reagan
