NORCROSS — If you need a little relationship guidance, Atlanta Marriage Encounter is here to help with the opportunity to learn a technique of loving communication.
From Aug. 16-18, couples can sign up for a weekend at Atlanta Marriott Norcross. The event will be facilitated by three couples: Jack and Angel LaBate of Cumming, Roger and Ann Borello of Johns Creek, and Doug and Maureen Newlands of Dunwoody with Msgr. Bill Hoffman of Roswell on hand.
The emphasis of the Marriage Encounter weekend is on the communication between husbands and wives. The weekend provides “a conducive environment for couples to spend time together, away from the distractions and tensions of everyday life, while encouraging them to focus on each other and their relationship,” according to a release.
The weekend begins on 8 p.m. Friday and is complete by 4 p.m. Sunday.
Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekends are presented in the Roman Catholic Faith Expression, but couples of all faiths are welcome.
Atlanta Marriott Norcross is located at 475 Technology Parkway in Norcross.
The next weekend encounters are slated for Sept. 27-29 and Nov. 8-10. For more information and registration, visit www.ga4marriage.org.
