GAB: Church hosting clothing drive for the public

DULUTH — The Duluth Church of Christ is inviting the public to the annual free Clothing Give-A-Way on Saturday. There will be men, women and children clothing available as well as small appliances and furniture.

The Clothing Give-A-Way will be at 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at The Duluth Church of Christ, 3239 Ga. Highway 120 in Duluth. For more information, call 770-476-2159.

Organization invites charities to apply for free breakfast

ATLANTA — Jackmont Hospitality, owner of several T.G.I. Friday’s is inviting your organization to join The Breakfast Club and have a free breakfast, no strings attached.

The Breakfast Club provides a free, private breakfast on Saturday mornings for up to 25 of your organizations members. In order to participate, your group must be an established organization (church, club, etc.) serving in the community.

The Breakfast Club is currently being offered from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturdays at T.G.I. Friday’s, 1695 Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth and 1795 Mall of Georgia Boulevard in Buford. For more information or to apply, call 404-505-8188.

Local animal clinic offers low-cost vaccinations

NORCROSS — Camp Woof is hosting a low-cost vaccination clinic on Saturday. The specials include canine and feline rabies shots for $10, canine and feline distemper shots for $10, canine bordetalla shots for $10, canine heartworm tests for $25, microchips for $25 and combo tests for $25. If an animal has had a reaction to vaccinations in the past, it is best to see the pet’s regular veterinarian.

No appointment is needed and the clinic runs from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Camp Woof is located at 4590 Buford Highway in Norcross. All dogs must be on a leash and all cats in carriers. For more information, call 770-558-6100.

Gwinnett charity hosting golf tournament

DULUTH — Care for Cops, a Gwinnett-based charity, is hosting its 8th Annual Charity Golf Classic.

Care for Cops is a “nonprofit organization that has provided direct financial assistance to more than twenty-eight families since 2004. They provide direct financial assistance to families that have lost a loved one.”
