BrandBank names new managers

LAWRENCEVILLE — BrandBank has hired new managers for its Duluth and Grayson locations. Russell Ashley is now manager at the bank’s Grayson store while Rachel Moore is the store manager in Duluth.

“Both Russell and Rachel bring significant area banking experience to BrandBank,” said Garrett White, director of retail banking. “We believe there is potential for significant growth in the Duluth and Grayson markets and look forward to their leadership and contributions.”

Ashley has more than nine years of banking experience as a branch manager with SunTrust, most recently in Monroe. Under his leadership, that branch was the area’s top performing location for four consecutive years. Ashley was also a top individual producer for the bank. Ashley is a graduate of Lander University.

Moore has been meeting the financial needs of customers in Gwinnett County for the last eight years, most recently with Bank of North Georgia.

She has 12 years of community banking experience, specializing in small business and personal lending.

Flooring store to celebrate grand opening

BUFORD — Purdy Flooring and Design will host a grand opening celebration on Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The store will offer special sales for the grand opening and there will also be a live band as well as inflatables for the kids and prize giveaways.

The store is located at 2725 Hamilton Mill Rd, Suite 800.

Grand opening set for Harbins complex

DACULA — A grand opening celebration for Harbins Park Baseball/Softball Complex in partnership with Archer Athletic Association will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be games and other activities for families.

The complex is located at 3200 New Hope Road, Dacula.
