It’s finally time to put away those winter jackets and remember everything that spring has to offer. Here’s a list of a few of the festivals Gwinnett is offering during this festive season.

BUFORD

MALL OF GEORGIA’S MOVIES UNDER THE STARS AND CONCERT SERIES

Weekends through the summer will feature a concert with local talent and an outdoor movie.

• When: Band begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by movies around 9:30 p.m. or sundown

• May 25: “Brave”

• June 1: “Chasing Mavericks”

BAREFOOT IN THE PARK

This annual festival celebrates all of the arts, including the performing arts, which are a big part of the event’s overall programming.

• When: Festival 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 11, gala 5 to 8 p.m. May 11, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 12

• Where: Duluth Town Green, 3142 Hill St., Duluth

FLICKS ON THE BRICKS

Outdoor movie event throughout the summer.

• When: Activities begin at 7 p.m., movie starts at dusk

• Where: Duluth Town Green, 3142 Hill St., Duluth

• May 17: “Brave” with dance and hula lessons hula-hoop artist Shelby Rawles

SUMMERSTAGE CONCERT SERIES

Live music at the park with outside drinks and beverages encouraged, including beer and wine.

• When: 7 to 10 p.m.

• Where: Duluth Town Green, 3142 Hill St., Duluth

• July 26: The Dappled Grays

• Aug. 9: Yacht Rock Schooner

• Aug. 30: Ballybeg Band

GRAYSON

MOVIES IN THE PARK

Anchor Church is sponsoring the free event with inflatables and other family-friendly activities.

• When: Free activities begin at 7 p.m., movies start at dusk

• Where: Grayson Community Park, One Park Drive, Grayson

• June 7: “Wreck-It Ralph”

• Aug. 3: “We Bought a Zoo”

LAWRENCEVILLE

MOONLIGHT AND MUSIC CONCERT SERIES

From May to September, concerts are held of the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse lawn. Each concert offers various styles of music. Concert-goers can bring a picnic.

• When: 8 to 10 p.m. every fourth Friday

• Where: Historic Gwinnett Courthouse lawn, 185 E. Crogan St., Lawrenceville

• May 31: Grogus

• June 28: Abbey Road LIVE! (Beatles tribute band)

• July 26: Randall Bramblett Band

NORCROSS

FOLK FEST 2013

Showcase the work of self-taught artists, Southern folk pottery and more at one of the largest folk art shows in the country.

• When: 5 to 10 p.m. Aug. 16, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 17, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 18

• Where: North Atlanta Trade Center, 1700 Jeurgens Court, Norcross

• Cost: $15 on Aug. 15, $7 Aug. 18 and 19. Children 16 and under are free

PEACHTREE CORNERS

PEACHTREE CORNERS FESTIVAL

The two-day festival will have arts, music, children's activities, a car show and foot race all in the name of summer.

• When: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 8, noon to 5 p.m. June 9

• Where: At the intersection of The Corners Parkway and Woodhill Drive

SNELLVILLE

SNELLVILLE DAYS

This annual craft festival will feature more than 150 craft and food vendors, children’s activities and entertainment throughout Briscoe Park.

• When: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. Sunday

• Where: Briscoe Park, 2500 Sawyer Parkway, Snellville

SUGAR HILL

BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL

The city of Sugar Hill and Suwanee’s Everett’s Music Barn teamed up for a day of live music, food, craft and vendors.

• When: Noon to 6 p.m. Saturday

• Where: City Hall Amphitheater, 5039 W. Broad St., Sugar Hill

REELS ON THE LAWN

Outdoor movie event for families at several parks in the city.

• When: Movies start at dusk

• May 17: “The Hunger Games” — City Hall Amphitheater, 5039 W. Broad St., Sugar Hill

• June 14: “Hotel Transylvania — City Hall Amphitheatre

SUWANEE

ART ON A LIMB

Throughout the month of May, two pieces of original artwork by Suwanee based artist Judy Isaak will be hidden along the Suwanee Creek Greenway and other trails. And remember: Finders, keepers.

• When: Once daily in May

• Where: Suwanee Creek Greenway, 1170 Buford Highway, Suwanee

ARTS IN THE PARK

Art event with vendors from all over the state and country to sell their wares and pieces.

• When: 11 a.m. May 18

• Where: Town Center Park, 330 Town Center Ave., Suwanee

BROADWAY IN THE PARK

This year, Suwanee Performing Arts presents “Shrek the Musical” and “Shooby Doo.”

• When: 8 p.m. July 26-27
