Disgruntled customer makes bomb threat at Ga. Walmart

COVINGTON -- A disgruntled customer was arrested at Walmart on Salem Road Wednesday afternoon after she allegedly made a bomb threat, according to the Newton County Sheriff's Office.

Bonita Makanjuola, 50, faces charges of terroristic threats and acts in connection with the incident.

"There was a lady who came in the store who didn't receive the customer service she wanted," said NCSO spokesman Michael Cunningham. "She said twice in front of the cashier, 'There's gonna be a bomb, mark my words.'"

After hearing the threat, the Walmart employee contacted law enforcement and Makanjuola was arrested on scene.

The incident occurred around 1:40 p.m. The store was not evacuated.
