The inaugural Nikki's Birthday Concert for a Cure is planned for Sunday, May 19 to honor the late Grayson soccer player and to raise money for skin cancer research. Rouis, a former Gwinnett County player of the year, passed away from melanoma earlier this year.
The May 19 concert, from 2 to 6 p.m., is scheduled at Music on Main Street at 113 Main Street in Lilburn. Jim and Jack will be joined by fellow Atlanta band Davin McCoy and the Coming Attractions as the featured entertainment. Coolers with snacks and drinks are allowed at the outdoor venue and food also will be available at the cash-only event. Raffles and a silent auction also are being planned.
All proceeds from the event go directly to skin cancer research. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children 15 and under.
