STONE MOUNTAIN -- A natural gas leak caused Rockbridge Road to close on Monday for more than six hours as fire and Hazmat crews responded to the scene near West Park Place Boulevard.
Gwinnett Fire Lt. Colin Rhoden said gas was shut down around the intersection at 4:12 p.m. Rhoden said the road was closed at 10:17 a.m. and reopened at 4:46 p.m.
The line was ruptured by crews boring pipes with a machine, he said.
