DULUTH -- Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful is adding new services to its Duluth facility in honor of Earth Day.
On Saturday, the nonprofit celebrates the grand opening of the additions. The new community recycling services include payment for aluminum cans and plastic drink bottles, free paper shredding for confidential documents, electronics recycling, plus the opportunity to open a recycling account to earn money for your favorite community organization.
The grand opening also features the opportunity to learn about the recycling process, arts and crafts upcycling projects, and drawings for cash prizes.
After Saturday, residents and businesses can continue to use these services 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Super Saturday Recycling Days are being planned for the future.
The event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Recycling Bank of Gwinnett, 4300 Satellite Blvd. in Duluth. For a complete list of things to recycle at the facility, visit www.gwinnettcb.org/volunteer/recycle.
