BUSINESS BRIEFS: New local business rents campers

LOGANVILLE -- Like camping, but hate setting up all that gear?

A new business has opened in Loganville that rents RVs for one-time use. Valet RV Rental Owner Thad Weed said that "all customers and clients have to do is drive up to the campsite, put their stuff in the camper, and next thing they know they're roasting marshmallows on the campfire."

The travel trailers come fully furnished and sleep up to six adults and two children.

Weed currently delivers campers to Stone Mountain Park Campground and Fort Yargo State park campground in Winder.

He currently has two large 2013 travel trailers for rent. "They are both bunkhouse style, so there's a bunkhouse in the back .. .a dinette that folds down, a sofa and full, island size bed," he said.
