DULUTH -- Bank of America is reaching out to more than 7,900 customers in Duluth and surrounding areas Thursday through Saturday by providing financial advice to identify alternatives to foreclosure.
The homeowner assistance event is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday at Gwinnett Center, 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth.
According to officials with Bank of America, Georgia remains one of the top three states with the highest foreclosure rates based on recent studies.
Customers at the event will receive face-to-face assistance from Bank of America specialists who will review their financial situation to identify alternatives to foreclosure.
The bank has also partnered with local non-profits to provide customers with additional financial counseling.
Complimentary parking will be available at the event, which is also free. Customers who are unable to attend can also make an appointment with the customer assistance center located in Atlanta to receive face-to-face assistance.
