STONE MOUNTAIN -- Spring has spring -- and so has new art.
On Saturday, ART Station presents an art stroll through its galleries as well as three other galleries on Main and East Mountain streets in Stone Mountain.
The tour starts at ART Station, where participants can take a look at its current exhibit, "Monsters Galore!" by Sarah Kargol.
Another stop includes Center Town Gallery, located at 951 Main St., showcasing the galleries and studios of Bill Leavell (graphite), Fawn Lowery (fused glass), Tracie Hawkins (quilting and painting), Michael Labbe-Webb (blown glass and metal work) and Christine Slocomb (mosaics).
The art stroll continues to the North Town Gallery at 977 Main St., showcasing the gallery and studio of Anita Jordan (fused glass) and Cynthia Frigon (collage).
For the final stop, attendees walk to East Town Gallery at 5347 E. Mountain St., which features a consignment gallery with work from 23 artists.
The event is free, but there are passports recommended for the event, which can be picked up at ART Station, Center Town Galleries, North Town Gallery or East Town Gallery prior to Saturday evening. Those with the passports that visit all of the spots and get their cards punched are entered into a drawing for gift certificates from the galleries. The certificates are between $25 and $100.
To be entered, after getting the card punched, attendees must turn in their cards at ART Station by 9:15 p.m. Saturday. Winners will be announced, but don't have to be present to receive the gift certificates.
There will be light food and drink available during the stroll.
